Abstract:

Xavier de Jarcy is a journalist working for Télérama, the first French cultural magazine. He writes for both the print and the web editions about design, architecture, cities and other subjects. In 2015, he published Le Corbusier, un fascisme français, and, in 2018, coordinated with Marc Perelman Le Corbusier, zones d’ombre. In 2019, he wrote Les Abandonnés - Histoire des “cités de banlieue”, a history of the building of the French suburbs. He lives in Paris.

Xavier de Jarcy's short talk on „Responsibility“ was part of the International IGmA Symposium „Index of Modern Architecture“ on 1 July 2022 at Weißenhofsiedlung, Stuttgart.
