Abstract:

Sam Jacob is principal of Sam Jacob Studio for architecture and design, a practice whose work spans scales and disciplines including architecture, design, and exhibition projects. Recent work includes a new building in London‘s Hoxton and projects for the Science Museum, the V&A and Somerset House. Sam is a professor of Architecture at the University of Illinois in Chicago and is currently visiting professor at TU Wien. He is author of Make It Real, Architecture as Enactment. Previously he was a founding director of FAT Architecture.

Sam Jacob's short talk on „Fiction“ was part of the International IGmA Symposium „Index of Modern Architecture“ on 1 July 2022 at Weißenhofsiedlung, Stuttgart.
